Penn Strategies VP of Operations Named One of City & State Magazine’s Forty Under 40

On November 15 City & State magazine released the 2021 Pennsylvania Forty Under 40. Recognized on the list are the most influential Pennsylvanians under the age of 40, including advocates, attorneys, nonprofit and business leaders, and some of the highest-ranking lawmakers throughout the state.

We’re proud to announce that Penn Strategies’ very own vice president of operations, Phillip Trometter, made the 2021 list.

About Phillip

A native of Williamsport, Phillip is a Penn State University, Harrisburg, undergraduate and has a master’s degree from Arkansas State University. As our vice president of operations, Phillip oversees daily operations and executes economic development consulting for municipalities and counties in Pennsylvania. 

Before being named vice president of operations, Phillip was an appointee of the executive office of former President Donald Trump. He served in the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and worked with the White House, congressional staff, and federal agencies to further Opportunity Zone development on the east coast. 

Phillip served as senior vice president at Penn Strategies prior to his appointment in the Trump administration. In this role, he consulted for political campaigns for governor, lieutenant governor, county elections, and municipal elections.
